Sheep

Whether producing wool or meat, sheep can only produce as well as their current diet allows them to. “Its in the feeding, not the breeding” applies to the quality of wool clip, and number of healthy lambs raised.  Sheep grazing on pasture alone are particularly at risk of essential mineral and trace element deficiencies, especially with the large variations that occur in the quality of pastures according to soil type, season and climate. In drought conditions, and at the break of season, pasture can be in very short supply, and supplementary feeding is necessary to keep sheep alive.

While drought feeding relies on providing sufficient energy and protein for survival, these conditions can result in serious deficiencies of essential minerals, trace elements and vitamins, such as Vitamin E. The fat soluble vitamins A,D, and E are not only essential for immune function, but also for assimilation of minerals into the body – therefore deficiencies of these vitamins are frequently linked to mineral deficiencies, and are frequently subclinical, mainly being expressed by loss of production via infertility, lamb deaths etc.

Dynavyte is an ideal supplement to have on hand for these conditions on a sheep farm. As a highly palatable liquid, containing good levels of Vitamin A, D and E, it can be administered to the individual animal as an oral drench, mixed with other drenches, or it can be added into feed rations and watering systems.

It is a brilliant tonic boost for stressed lambing ewes, especially if lambing at a time when feed quality is poor, and protein and energy requirements are being met by supplementary feeding.

Dynavyte is also very useful to supplement orphan lambs, as it can be added easily to milk, feed or given orally in a daily dose.

For nursing sheep with fly strike, wounds or any kind of illness, Dynavyte is a great boost that delivers a huge range of essential nutrients in every dose. Most diseases in sheep have a nutritional aspect to them, predisposing the animal to the disease in the first place by weakening its immune system – therefore Dynavyte has great potential as a tonic to aid recovery.

For sheep that are subjected to transport/shipping stress, Dynavyte has been demonstrated to help keep animals on their rations, and therefore help to better maintain body weight once transporting is completed. The many different complex molecules in Dynavyte help to feed rumen microbes, and thus assist in stimulating appetite and well being.

Dynavyte contains over 60 chelated minerals and trace elements as well as a full array of vitamins and amino acids. It is also unique in that it contains a wide variety of plant complex molecules, including volatile herbal oils, chlorophyll and humic and fulvic acids, many of which are currently being researched as essential factors in maintaining gut function and balance in grazing livestock.

Dynavyte is carefully blended from a range of natural organic plant products, grown under ideal conditions, where all minerals and trace elements are available in highly bioavailable chelated form – this includes such essential trace minerals as selenium, copper, cobalt, manganese, iodine and zinc. Dynavyte also has good levels of Calcium, Magnesium, and Sulphur. It also includes many rarer trace minerals, such as titanium, chromium, vanadium, zircon, boron, nickel, strontium and germanium which have been demonstrated to have biological activity in minute amounts. Many or most of these trace elements are completely deficient in overworked soils. Many of these trace minerals are also essential for good wool growth, as well as making sure that lambing ewes make plenty of good nutritious milk to raise a good strong lamb.

Dynavyte is a useful additive to the rations of feed-lotted sheep, as it assists the rumen in adapting to the higher levels of concentrate. It may be safely added to grain and forage supplements, and may also be combined with molasses and urea supplements for drought feeding programmes. The sulphur compounds in Dynavyte are of particular value when feeding supplements such as urea.

Additional salt and free choice licks are not necessary when feeding Dynavyte, as all essential minerals, including salt, are contained in this easily administered and palatable liquid.

Dynavyte is 100% natural and 100% organic and will not compromise any quality assurance or organic certification programme, as it is manufactured in a GMP/APVMA approved facility.
